Program of Campania Wine Tasting
Our tour starts at approximately 08.30h, where one of our drivers will come and collect your from your accommodation. We will head off in the direction of Naples, and you can sit back and relax for the journey. Leaving the Sorrentine peninsula behind, we will join the motorway, and after about 40 minutes we will be in the Campanian fields, where the wines in the area have be produced for many, many generations.
We will take you to one of the most famous wine cantinas – we will be met by one of their experts to let you see first-hand the vines. This is one of the best wine producers in the area and in fact all of Italy – Producing “Taurasi” the most important wine from the south of Italy. After we have finished looking at the Vineyards, we will move to the distillery, where you can see the whole wine making process, from the grapes to the labels being stuck on the bottles!! And finally – the best part – you get the chance to try some of this wonderful wine!!
Wine tasting;
There will be 4 different types of wine for you to try – 2 whites & 2 reds.
Normally these are “Falanghina”, “Il Greco di Tufo”, L’Aglianico” & “Il Taurasi” – but sometimes there are others on offer for you to try. These wines will be accompanied by some wonderful traditional local dishes.
After Lunch, we will get back on the road to drop you off at your accommodation – this should be approx. at 18.30h.
